Today, drippypop.rocks reached 100 registered users!

What started as a small site that I originally made for my friends to mess around on has grown into a small but dedicated community of players.

Thank you so much to everyone who has joined, played games, reported bugs, suggested features, collected items, and supported the site throughout its journey.

Even during the long downtime period where the site was unavailable for nearly a year and updates were few and far between, many of you stuck around and continued supporting the project. That support means more than you know.

To Celebrate

The 100 Users Party Hat is now available FREE in the catalog until June 16, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM EST.

All users who were among the first 100 registered users have been awarded the Founder's Pinstripe Fedora.

Client Progress

The games client is still actively in development and should be available for download before July. Once the client launches, our first Egg Hunt event will follow shortly after.

This update is finalllyyyyyy out!

Instead of filling out a long application, new users can sign up in seconds with just a discord account!

The old application system just wasn't that great anymore and made signing up way more complicated than it needed to be, so (as requested) we decided to replace it.

Existing accounts are NOT affected. If you already have an account, you can keep using it as usual.

You can still link a Discord later in Settings > Security if you want to though, and we highly recommend doing that since a linked Discord account is required for password resets/account recovery.

We've also still been working on the web client and other stuff behind the scenes too.

Welcome back to drippypop.rocks! This is our first minor/major update since coming out of our long downtime, and we're glad to be back.

Discord Verification

We added Discord linking right inside Account Security. You can generate a one-time code and DM the bot using ?link CODE (or /link CODE), refresh your status, and unlink whenever you want.

We HIGHLY recommend adding your Discord to your account. If you lose access to the account you used to sign up, we will not be able to help you at all.

Better Link Previews

Sharing links should look way nicer now. We added server-side meta tags + canonical URLs for key pages so previews show proper titles/descriptions/images:

- Forum subcategories and threads now generate share previews based on the subforum/thread content.

- Groups pages now include group name/description + icon when available.

- Game pages now include universe/place info + thumbnails where possible.

- User profiles now include usernames/descriptions + headshots where possible.

Develop / Upload Fixes

We corrected develop upload endpoint URL building to avoid bad paths, and updated a few hardcoded links that still pointed at the old testing domain.

Web Client Progress

We've been making steady progress on the client and hope to have the web client out before summer. If all goes well, we may release a standalone version before Easter.
